What LED bulb are you using?

This is the 120 LED porch light I got and the seller.

There are a ton of options in cobs. I have a feeling a 68 1210 cob is a good match for a 48 1210 panel in brightness. Others can weigh in.

I'd probably go with cobs. They are easier to install AND remove. There is less worry that shore power will have issues. (mainly melt the tape) Then again price wise 10 panels for $17.99 is hard to beat.

Jimi, if you were doing it again would you use the panel type or cobb style?

Also, what's best for the outdoor light over the door? The brighter the better so I won't need to use the coleman lantern, naphtha (white gas) is almost 20 bucks a gallon up here.

Yup, JiminDenver hit the nail.
I've found that the E Bay panels from different sellers have different lumens and different colors even if of the same type and construction. I have a variety of them and it's best to start with a few samples to see how you like them. Shipping was actually pretty fast so it doesn't get to be a long process to sample.

I replaced my RV bulbs with the same type you have which is a 921 or 906 equivelent LED Bulb. Be sure to check you lumens if you want a bright bulb. I went with the 13-5050 SMD type warm white bulb. The 13 refers to how many SMD's are on the bulb. The 5050 is the size of the SMD's on the led bulb. Led bulbs come in all type of colors but warm white best resembles the original bulbs the come in trailers. The 13-5050 wedge type led bulb is about 180 to 210 in lumens. Very bright and almost close to your original RV bulb. Its good to read by as well. You can get these on Ebay for about $2.00 a piece. I highly recommend them. At this price you can always get extras.

My trailer uses the 921 wedge type bulb. lots of info on here on what others have used to replace their 921 bulbs. I went cheap with the EBAY/CHINA $4.99 boards to replace mine. I had to go with non-regulator type LED boards as the regulated type LED boards produced low level RFI signals that interfered with my HDTV, NOAH WX RADIO, and Ham radio operations especially when I was using the OTA Crank up BAT WING and camping off the power grids.

If you buy the high dollar type only buy ONE and try it out before spending lots of money only to find out you don't like them...
