I just carry 2 x 8 and 4 x 8 boards then when I'm two feet away I just drive on them and double check the stock bubbles.
Then I set the 4 x 8 on end for a short travel to jacks to stabilize the unit and only then I push out the slide.
Takes about a whole 5 minutes start to stop
