It's like you guys live to find something to criticize other people about.
There is probably a type of form you can have notarized to use along with the title. My son lives in Texas, I bought an rv for him in a different state. He signed and emailed a form to the dealer in the other state saying I could sign his name to buy the RV. My point is that you can do it but need to contact Tx tax office etc to see what you can take with you so you are not trying to obtain it when you are out of state.
So you need to find out what form you might need to go along with the title. I'm thinking along the lines of notarized official receipt.
