Your tongue jack only lifts the front of the trailer when not connected to the TV. When using weight distributing hitches you may have to raise the tongue after connecting to the TV in order to hook the bars or chains in place. When doing so you will be lifting the rear of the TV as high as needed to hook the bars or chains. The tongue jack will need to be able to lift the rear of the TV along with what ever is in the back of the TV. Size the tongue jack accordingly.
