Our only 12v socket is at the head of one side of the bed. But, it doesn't provide enough juice to start up my CPAP. I have a dedicated battery that sits in the pass through, under the bed. I have an inverter hooked up to it and I put in a 120v socket that wires up to it under the side of the bed. My last two trailers only had a 12v socket by the TV. My current CPAP must have a high surge on start-up, because it just won't start with the 12v plug. It doesn't use the brick to convert it to 12v, it's 18v or 24v or something weird like that.
