- Dog_FolksExplorerWhat was Ram thinking?
The way I see it is they know that is a growing market for Luxury pickups.
One of the largest generations (baby boomers) is retiring and many have the money for this type of vehicle.
Now what is the cheapest way to differentiate this luxury from us common folks? I know.... change the grill and trim.
They just want their piece of the action. - mich800Explorer

The rep they were interviewing on the radio (didn't catch his name as I tuned in the middle of conversation) said 28% of Rams 1/2 trucks fall into the luxury or optioned out segment. He also said 50% of 3500 Rams sold fall under this segment. So much for the 1/2 ton guys being the ones purchasing for the fashion statement. - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIThat is a GAWD AWFUL grille!

The grille is not near as bad as the tailgate! - TurnThePageExplorerThe grill is pretty rough on the eyes for sure. In general I like bling, but the grills on this one and the Rebel are just too much, for me anyway.
