Billy...not saying not capable...they are, but the layers of bling is tough for
me to get through
Plus...keep mine for decades till can't/won't fix them anymore, or parts becoming
too scarce or expensive
Two of my careers are in computing and controls (robotics, automation, systems,
process control, etc) commercial, industrial and military
Mainly why I don't like 'highly integrated' stuff...more so on automotive
While at the laboratories...GM asked my guys to take a look at their EV2 that
they "Javatised"
Flaky and their engineers couldn't figure it out. My guys at labs ditto...
Well, they had several individual systems running sub-systems.
There was no master/slave hierarchy established...so they all at one time or
another 'thought' it was the master and the others slaves...taught them about
that from my automation stuff
Had them file a ton of patents and sent it back to GM...after a bunch of geeky
nerds beat up some exec's Vette's, Ferrari's, Porsche's, etc Black marks all
over the parking lot...fun times !!!
Back on topic...my 'trucks' are for TV'ing and doing 'work' or 'work'
out there playing...they are NOT 'cars' to me...but to the fashion
statement crowd...they are 'cars'...
But from someone who has 4 vehicles. From the 2 seater still on block
trying to find budget and time (my first brand new vehicle) to my Sub
and noodling getting one or two more...if had to only have one it
would be my Sub...it can do everything...even dirt/gravel/etc...what
a tarp is for...or rent a utility trailer for the really dirty/smelly stuff
me to get through
