If it were within my power (and budget) I'd move the rear entry door a couple of feet closer to the front of the trailer. Being near the rear means uneven terrain easily causes steps to drag. I've had to replace the rear steps twice due to grounding multiple times and eventually they get too bent up to repair.
For those who travel the back roads and camp in disbursed or remote campgrounds, look for a model with the door close to the axle.
