I love our unit, but I do think they went too cheap on a few things. No front window, I realize thats a big cost savings but it would be nice to have. Also next to the bed are 2 cubbie holes. Its easy to see these were meant to be drawers. They just left the drawers out to save money. I have already built new cabinet doors for the storage under the dinette that was not included. Drawers for the cubbies should be this winters project.
I actually called the makers of our TT to see if we could have a window put into the front of the rig. They gave us two comments. They told us that windows are usually the first place TT's start to leak. Then.. he went on to say (as a rule) the front window is the first to leak as it gets battered when driving down the road 55-60 mph in pouring rain. So, we've decided that we'll enjoy this TT for a long while, and when something crosses our path that has a little better lighting we'll upgrade.
