My trailer in my signature is right around 6300lbs ready for camping. It has one slide and that slide makes so much difference when you're inside on a bad weather day. A bunkhouse model is a must even with 1 kid as there's no tearing down the dinette or sleeping on the very uncomfortable jackknife sofa. My brother has a Jayco 26BH with no slide and it feels pretty cramped in there.
