get any hail storms in Collettsville, NC
OH yes!
We actually live 15 miles on up the dirt road in Mortimer, (old ghost town) and we did not get anything but it was awful lot of damage in Collettsville. US Hwy 90 was closed with trees and root balls that had fallen into the road. I could only imagine what the rescue workers thought as they had to work their way into the area for several miles?
There is a creek that runs toward Lenoir and homes along this route all had small bridges to cross in their driveways, they lost their bridges and now have makeshift walk bridges to get in and out, no cars can cross yet today!
