So I went to the annual RV show here in Saskatoon over the weekend, just to check out what's new in the RV world. Lots of great deals on accessories from the three dealers that put this show on, but nothing really new from last year.One thing I noticed that caught my attention was this 30-ish foot bunkhouse model with a pantry:And a 33' Lacrosse bunkhouse model with an island kitchen very similar to my Zinger 33BH, but it had a full closet at the front entry instead of a partial closet like mine:Otherwise nothing really new or inventive this year.What have other seen that's new this year?

Nothing in TTs but in A's, there is the Thor Axis and Vegas RUV's....might be trading in my TT if they ever get one to my local RV store...RUV roadtrip

A's are out of my realm of possibility right now. I did see some pretty fancy ones, but nothing at all set up for my family. Maybe once the kids are older some of these floor plans would work, but right now the bunkhouse style TT is where it's at.

DW and I walked around our RV show here in Regina on Saturday. Nothing really popped up other than an Open Range 5'er. The LX249RBS caught the eye of my wife but as for myself can't really say I was impressed with anything. We were in one trailer with a V nose and it had a huge desk along one wall - DW's eyes lit up and "Scrap booking" came out of her lips. One thing I wish the RV industry would do is standardize on their weights and measurements. It's so hard to compare units when they all have different standards. Great way to kill the afternoon and not think about cold and snow though.

The most useless thing I thought about those Axis A's is that they have 3 tv sets...main, bedroom and outside...I don't even use the one in my TT...these days, I watch tv shows and movies on my iPad...the bathroom with it's triangular corner shower looks to be about the same size as in my 18' Chalet Takena 1865 TT....so I could live with it....at least it's a dry bath whereas some of those B's on the Mercedes chassis usually don't have that....It's also clever the way they have the folding door of the washroom open out into the hallway to make the area for changing etc. much larger...

This is what sold us on the Zinger 33BH last year over the other similar floor plans.

Keyless entry would be a nice upgrade that I'm thinking of putting on mine. I have it at home, and love the convenience. I don't even carry house keys anymore.

I also noticed this year they are putting the LED light strip against the trailer, whereas mine from last year is in the awning tube itself (So the awning has to be fully extended for the lights to be useful).

To each his own. I like my TT but, as far as a small bathroom sink that would be OK by me. All you really ever do is wash your hands in it anyway. In a previous TT that I owned that had the bathroom in the middle I though about getting rid of the bathroom sink altogether. It was just in the way and it doesn't get much use.

We just purchased a 2010 TT, so we went to the local RV show to see the latest updates. There were a few things like the LED lighting that were nice touches but most of the appliances, hardware, and upholstery looked surprisingly familiar.

We gave a long hard look at A-liners and a brief look at Trail Manors primarily because of the ease of towing and better gas mileage, but in the end we decided on a “full bedroom” so to speak.

Do you happen to know what the Trailmanor rocky MTN edition has over a regular trailmanor. I'm sure you know the ones i'm talking about sold in the CO springs. It looked like they were only available at this one dealer. Thanks.

I really like those Trailmanors....especially since I'd be able to store it in my standard height garage...Only downside is the wet bath and smaller sized fridge....also maybe a concern with the roof leaking at that top seam where the two parts overlap?

I agree with everything else you are saying, but keyless entry (rvlock) was one of the best things I did to my trailer. No more worrying about losing trailer keys while on the boat, bikes, walk, beach.. you name it.

These are not for many people, but for those of us who prefer smaller (for ease of towing), TrailManor has added slides to their smallest models. These 2417 models tow like a large popup (weigh less than some large popups), but open with hard sides all-around - no canvas.

Easy to set up, and good room for two adults (I would not think about month-long trips with kids), whether week-long trips, or months-long. If someone is looking at A-liners, I would suggest looking at this size of TrailManors, also.

My wife narrowed down the floorplan to one from two that I liked. I talked with a Keystone Outback representative about the lien and the Diamond Package differences. I'm trying to wait a year to upgrade!
