Wheels running hot
The rear wheels on my TV are running hot when towing. I plan to compare the temps when running unloaded soon. I know I am near the weight limits on my 2500HD, but not over, based on trip to CAT scales...

What should I be checking to see why it is running hot? And I guess I should ask, how warm/hot should I expect wheels to be?

First you say your rear wheels are running hot. Then you ask how warm/ hot you should expect. Are they running hot or not? :h How hot are they running?
Where are you gunning? The wheel? The axel? The brake drum? Even the radiant heat coming off of the drum will show up on the gun and make a BIG difference in temp.
