When did dodge start installing air bags from factory?

I have been surfing the net for a used dodge 1500. I want one with the air ride. So what year did they start installing them at the factory? Thanks PS Don't tell anyone that I'm retired For...

I frequent the Cummins forum as well as TDR since the rear air assist came out and I haven't heard of "a lot of issues":h... Unless you're talking about the 1/2 ton. I don't follow that one.
