When do you drain your lines and hot water heater?
How long do you let water sit in your lines and water heater before draining? Do you drain every trip, if it sits a month?

A cup of bleach in FW tank, fill, run through system, drain and refill two hours later. Repeat, with fresh water only, twice to flush bleach. I do this every six months give or take. Other than that, I don't drain the tanks or system.
