Although the bunk room is smaller on the 291, I don't think that would be a real problem, the kids are going to spend their time either outside or in the living area with the entire family. Look at the bunk sizes, if they differ, be sure they will be big enough as the kids grow. If your kids are likely to not be tall, then a shorter bunk is okay.
Also determine if the master bed is long enough.. or if there is room to convert to a standard size mattress.. For me at 5'4", even the short queen is plenty long.. My SIL comments that his feet hang off, when they use TT as guest house while visiting. He does say the island bed with walk around room at the foot is much better than bed in previous, that had cabinet at the foot.
These type of things are the things that are going to make a huge difference in whether you are happy with your selection or not.
