Go hook up the new trailer and go for a tow and report back what you find. I think you'll find you'll want a WDH, but that's just me. Some tow a TT with a 1 ton which *should* be fine by numbers but still have a white knuckle experience. Besides the WDH, there's other factors to know about as well about in minimizing sway and if you don't address them will have issues.
Pretty light TT for 20'-9" but it's the physical size that's a factor in sway. Our first TT was 20' & 5K lbs towed by an older F150 and even with a WDH had bad sway issues but that was before I knew how to adjust it and about the other factors that contribute.
