When do you want or need a WDH and/or brake controller?

Didn't your pickup come with an owner's manual? They can be downloaded if necessary. They cover such things as hitches and weight limits. Your state will dictate when brakes are a legal requirement. They might not be required but they are a cheap and simple add on. You have already received many different suggestions from people who probably don't own that particular pickup or tow that trailer. Look it up and visit some scales to verify. That should be a great combination.
