When do you want or need a WDH and/or brake controller?

OK, I'm back. We wound up getting a good deal on a 2015 Ford F150 Super Crew 4x4 2.7L twin turbo with 3.55 rear axel, 6500# GVWR and trailer tow package. We're still looking at getting a Winneba...

One could research the various states for requirements and reciprocity, but with a trailer that has a GVWR of 3,800 pounds, the OP should have a good working brake controller in place.
