When does a Pickup become a " Historical Vehicle"?

Saw this the other day. It is a F100 Traytop( image quality is not that good) but it had " historical vehicle" plates, by expanding the photo you can see them. What is your definition of an historic...

That's one nice rig Mitch! One of the most handsome truck platforms ever and it so nice to see it in an unmolested state.

And Thanks Biofgren. It was my first car when I was a kid in the late 70's.
