Truthfully, I’m curious about what the ultimate TC hauler will cost. I’d like to build one just for fun.You know what I mean by ultimate: a Crew Cab, 2WD, 7.3 Gasoline, and DRW.

Dealers have been taking and Ford accepting orders for a while. First allocations due at dealers early Jan.

Even before researching new options, you can start searching for a dealer who will give you $10,000 below MSRPThe WA dealer was the best 3 years ago. Don't know if still stays.

I bet an 80K MSRP. Winder how much of an increase Fords will tack in to cover the new UAW contract.

Ultimate to me would still be a SRW regular cab 4X4. :DI think the new 7.3L is going to be awesome and I really don't anticipate very many if any issues. Its all old technology with a lot of new built into it.The down side for me is I use my pickup a lot, 30,000 miles per year.We have a 2016 and a 2017 F-250 regular cab 4wd and they are the hardest riding things I'v ever driven. Worse than an old Dodge.A new truck for me these day's would be a tough choice between a Ford and a Chevy.I would love the 7.3L, just not sure about the rest of the truck.I can tell you that the most butt ugly truck on the road today is the 2020 Silverado.

If I was going to replace my F450 I would get a gas F350 for the added payload. Diesel is great power but I hate dealing with filling it. Not wanting to start a gas vs diesel argument here. Just my personal preference.

Check the rear spring pack for upper overload springs. One may have the camper or plow package while the other does not. It gives it the suspension off the the F350 but does not reflect on the door tags.

We have two F-250s, a 2016 and a 2017.

Same GVW and both WTs.

The 2016 sits a lot higher than the other one and no one knows why.

In Sep I ordered a 2020 F-350 XL trim SRW, 6.2 Gas, Long Bed 4x4 with camper package. Upgraded from 17" to 18" wheels and added options to have electric windows and cruise control. Before any available rebates my cost is 43.5k.

I thought all trucks were well north of 50k but was surprised the base model is somewhat reasonable.

With our 3 dogs even Supercab is overkill as they like to share front bench with us.

Parked my 3500 at Tractor Supply yesterday beside a 250. That thing is at least 6" taller than my truck. It was stock. I supposed it doesn't matter for campers but if you have a 5th wheel there won't be any clearance for the bed rails.
