Far too busy this season to head out, but the snow came to us. We had 12 people: bothers, spouses, kids, G-kids over for the week of Thanksgiving, stretching our sleeping accommodations to the max. My bro John had to sleep in the TC. As luck would have it, it did snow and was cold enough for the white stuff to hang around for a week at 4K feet. It got down in the low 20's every night he slept in there. He ran the furnace with abandon and slept in a down sleeping bag. No harm, no foul. I'm glad I installed all the new insulation. With all the G-kids running around, he had the quietest nest in the tree and looked a lot more refreshed than we did in the A.M.
The sad part is the NWS had predicted a LOT of snow for that week and Jeanie bade me to put the big, hairy, 1100 pound, rear pull snow blower on the tractor, since we had so many staying at our place with 2WD. So, I installed the device (you know, a BFH and a 4 foot breaker bar) and that instantly jinxed the snow and we go only 2". This is last December:

So the winter trip with the TC so far has been about 30 feet from my garage door.
