Tried to find some cold temps in western NY, northern NY, VT, NH... anywhere they had the temps to be making snow on the slopes.
No go for Thanksgiving weekend... rainy, even though they had been making snow earlier in the week :(
Just going to have to wait for the real thing. Sorry NY folks, I think I jinxed us all. I signed DS, age 9, up for season snowboarding lessons. So I am pretty sure we won't see any real snow until March (I figure my luck since I plunked down a heft chunk of change for lessons that are, theoretically, to begin Jan 6th!) LOL.
We did camp for 2 nights in high 20 degree weather. Found out I still need to add insulation in the front cab over. Where my side of the east/west mattress touched the front cap, I had a wet sleeping bag. But head and feet were dry, so I must have had enough air moving to help a little - usually any outside wall with sweat.
