I can see where the plywood would give peace of mind over the Heki- I would hate have that thing fly off going down the road... If I ever had to do something similar I would 'prolly infill frame and install a Fantastic.
Yea, they are a lot more usable setting back a bit... but as long as NorthStar classifies it as a short bed model as well then I use as such- sure is nice to have a 3000 remote start genny on a truck camper.:C
