Where did Mooney go?

According to search, he hasn’t posted since 2013 and updated his profile in 2014. Hard to say if he’s been by, otherwise.

I remember him helping build a Host camper to his spec;s that was back in 2008 then he disappeared like the guy named Grumpy.

Lot of folks have dropped off the Camping World forums, and shifted onto Social Media (There's countless RV groups on there, now).

There's quite a number, there's one called "Truck Camping" where alot of the RV.net truck camper folks have migrated to.

I have spent less time on the Forum in the last year - but there was a specific issue - the loss of 3rd party hosting of photos. Suddenly they were charging $400 for hosting. The Forum had nothing to say nor made any effort to help. At some point, however, the Photobucket folks came to their senses and are charging a reasonable price for hosting. In the meantime the Avion community mostly wandered away.

You would think for a string that attracted over 600,000 views that this Forum's management would rouse itself. Nope. I think that lack of involvement with the posters on the Forum is one reason that TC owners get uninterested along with medieval technology that underlies this site.

As to Facebook, I never joined and I don't intend to. No disrespect to others is intended. I just don't trust FB. Google either.

I hope we can engage in a livelier Forum in the future. But it isn't looking promising.

I think he just entered a mod in the latest Truck Camper Magazine contest, but haven't seen him here for quite some time as mentioned above.

There's quite a number, there's one called "Truck Camping" where alot of the RV.net truck camper folks have migrated to.

Actually, we've migrated to the group "Truck Campers" though a lot are members of both Truck Campers and Truck Camping

Like many of the TC members I'm not on this forum as much as I use to be, kohldad are you using the same user name on the Facebook sites?
