- FubecaExplorerI love the mountain west on public land where there are plenty of secluded spots. I also really enjoy the desert - again public lands.
It was really tough when I lived in MN because there are so few places to go to truly get away. Loved it up North. - azrvingExplorerNot gunna do it! Aint givin up ma good spots! No way!
OK maybe one or two.
Maxwell Wildlife area in Colorado.
Grassy Point Blackwater Bay Fl
Chatooga River South Carolina. Stayed at a parking spot near there but it wasn't a good boondock spot. It was more of a drop off point for kayaks. It's tight but it is beautiful at the Grapevine near there. It's not for big rigs so a tent is perfect. Smaller TT are ok. Maybe stay somewhere else and drive into the Grapevine first without your TT. I found other places like Stump House tunnel/falls to be best with out your rig behind you. My basics of SC are park then explore for the next boondock place.
A nice park in that area is Cherry Hill State Park @ $10.00 a night. It's closed for the winter so check dates. They have water at the restroom/shower house and there is a dump station. There are hiking trails and waterfalls. - old_guyExplorerI bet there are more people boondock in wal mart shopping centers than the mountains
