I store mine outside in the HOA storage yard or at my father's yard.
Advantage of the storage yard is no trees to worry about and it is 3 minutes from my house so I can be on the road in under an hour. Disadvantage is there are 400+ people with access and some bloke can back into it.
My father's place has trees to worry about, isn't protected by a gate, and is 40 minutes each way. Big advantage though is it has power, water, and dump location.
But preferred location would be in a warmed building with full hookups. Just waiting on retirement so I can move where I can have enough land.
