Campgrounds....NO
We really didn't care about the CGs. as long as they were clean and maintained OK.
It wasn't about the CG...it was about the areas/places. We left CG in AM and returned in evening after going out/about adventuring.
COE (Corp of Engineer) were some of the nicest.
Loved the New England States especially come fall.
Enjoyed the 'southern' states in winter
N/W --- Western States in Spring/Summer
S/W ---Desert States fall/winter
Loved it all......every place was unique and had it's own special draw.
Came off the road --- bought house in a semi-desert area. Nice green valley within a desert type environment surrounded by mountains.
Go down to river, do off road adventuring, go to the mountains.
Not as good as traveling but pretty darn good for this phase in life.
