Where have you camped?

I'm curious to know where everyone is from and where you've been camping? I'll start.

I'm from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and I've been to the following places:

  • Pinery Provincial Park
  • MacGregor Point Provincial Park
  • Earl Rowe Provincial Park
  • Awenda Provincial Park
  • Long Point Provincial Park
  • Turkey Point Provincial Park
  • Bronte Creek Provincial Park
  • Emily Provincial Park
  • Ferris Provincial Park
  • Mew Lake Provincial Park (in Algonquin Park)
  • Pog Lake Provincial Park (in Algonquin Park)
  • Oastler Lake Provincial Park
  • Killbear Provincial Park
  • Restoule Provincial Park
  • Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park
  • Norfolk Conservation Area
  • Cape Croker Park

All of these places are located throughout Ontario.
  • I'm from the USA......didn't list a particular State due to living in so many different ones growing up.

Have been in all 50 states at one time or another.
But only list 42 on the signature map cause those are the ones we have actually camped in. (Haven't camped in Nevada, New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Alaska, Hawaii)

Another Canadian, yay! My mother is from Winnipeg. Or as she calls it, Winterpeg. She also lived in Churchill. When I was growing up she used to threaten to send me to Selkirk if I didn't behave.

Blue Lake looks awesome (your favourite park). My dream is to make it up that way to go to Quetico but it's an 18-20 hour drive from here so that will require quite the planning.
  • I will play along :)

I'm from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and I've been to the following places:

    • Birds Hill Campground (Manitoba) - nice place for kids to run around.
    • Blue Lake Provincial Park (Ontario) - my favorite place
    • Anicinabe RV Park & Campground (Ontario) - very nice place
    • Tunnel Mountain Village Campground, Banff (Alberta ) - a very good plave to camp if you are in the banff area
    • Tillebrook Provincial Park (Alberta) - great place for a night stop
