Where to camp in Yellowstone July 2016

I was in Yellowstone the last few days of September.
Madison Campground is nice, but after driving every loop in the campground, I wouldn't try to take anything bigger than about an 18' TT through there. The sites were kind of small.
I stayed at West Yellowstone KOA. It was nice, but they have seasonal rates, which are pretty darn high in the summer.
In 2006 I stayed at Fishing Bridge RV Park.... and it's exactly that, "an RV Park". The nice thing though is it had a laundry facility and was a good base camp since it was very close to the main loop of the park - in other words, somewhat centrally located.
Several years after I was there they did a complete overhaul of that RV loops. I tried to drive through the camp loops on September 30th, but they had already blocked off the entrance and actually had the main road all torn up - looks like the plan is to widen the road that heads towards the east entrance from the main loop.
Where would I stay when I go again? I'm not really sure.
