Where to dispose used motor oil?

Any Wal-Mart that has a lube and service center will take used oil. The one by me has a 23-qt limit. I just use a funnel to pour it back into the containers and put the containers in a box. My Dad always used it as weedkiller, but recycling is a much better option.

A lot of shops now have waste oil heaters. Instead of paying to have it trucked away, a service garage can burn it for heat.
