The big problem with the little compressors besides the duty cycle, is, they cannot rid themselves of the heat of compressing the air (which makes heat). Consquently, they either melt or you find the smoke in the motor or both.
I've found the best 'compressed air' source is a twin Co2 inflator. 2 'powerlets' will do an average tire. Works anywhere, no juice needed.
