The torque curve on the new 6.7's is not as flat as the older ones. If you look at a chart youll see what I mean. If you went with the 4.10 rear end at highway speed you will be way out of the peak torque band. The monster torque that is laid out is only achieved when the motor is spinning right around 1700 RPM. On my older version of the truck with 4.10 rear end that would mean just about 57 MPH. Since my torque curve is much flatter the 1790 my motor is spinning at 65 is not a bother and in fact is right where I want to be.
