I have the 3.55 ratio in my Ford (only 800 lb ft of torque compared to your 850)with 20 inch wheels (34" high tires) which would be equivalent to a 3.34 axle ratio in your dually assuming your tires will be 32" high. I pull very heavy loads with my truck (some trailers weighing over 30,000 lbs) and would definitely not be willing to sacrifice fuel economy to gain more pulling power than what I already have.
