Just to give you some more info, this will be for full-timing and I will be driving a lot all over North America. This also means pulling over mountains. The DRV has the GVWR of 18500lb and I guess I'll get close to that limit, especially when I am expected to carry some water in the holding tank.
BUT, since we will also travel around sites a lot without the trailer, I expect total mileage to be around 50% towed, 50% without. Either way, lots of mileages.
I will be getting the 385HP/850 lb-ft with Aisin 6 speed combo.
Given this, would the lowest axle ratio work? I think one of the response said 'yes', and one of them even suggested that this would be the best given its torque curve.
