Take a look at Grand Design trailers. And check the Grand Design and Grand Design Imagine Facebook pages. Yes, people post their problems but nobody has better customer service after the sale.
I second this.
Quality is of Grand Design trailers is honestly the same as every other trailer/camper/RV I have experienced. Its no better or worse and most of the items are plug and play. (They just assemble it all)
It's how they handle the issues that arise and communicate directly with the customer that I find so wonderful.
The rest comes down to your dealer and there are more bad than good service departments. Beware!
A friend bought a Grand Design 5er last year and has told me of the customer service. Unfortunately we like hybrids and GD does not make them. Another friend just bought a Jayco front bedroom TT, and I looked it over at the campground a few weeks ago. The first thing that jumped out at me were it had BAL stabilizer jacks and a BAL/Norco frame, I believe it was a 23RLSW. The Bal jacks are much more substantial than the Lippert jacks on our Rockwood, which are evidently made from paper faux painted to look like steel. I looked long and hard at the Bal frame. I had heard some bad things about those frames in the past but it sure looked rock solid to me. Bolted together with huck bolts and hardly any welds. The Lippert frame on our Rockwood was welded together by a pre school class or so it appears.
