You can believe all the hype about Thor and Forest River. But remember if it was not for them bailing out the RV industry, you would have a fraction of the TT manufacturers to choose from with far less competition.
Thor and FR are not going away any time soon, you will have the same choices five years from now you have today. The fact that the number of errors have risen with record output certainly is not good. However, I would not expect any major changes until there is consumer demand. At present the market is choosing price over quality.
Also keep mind that much of the talk about roofs, frames, tires, windows and etc. is mostly opinions. But such items become important when you are intending to use your TT in an unusual environment.
