had taken truck in to dealer for a look at the exhaust brake. he quoted me 35.00 for each 2 1/2 gal containers.
stopped by Wal-Mart. SuperTech 7.88 Blue Def is 11.97. can I use the Wal-Mart brand DuperTech without warranty problems

Peak Blue DEF 2.5 Gal is $10.94 at Sam's Club and $8.58 at Walmart!
You're welcome!
Thanks for the tip... I just changed the oil and I always fill the DPF as part of my oil change.
No big deal... :B

OK the GM couldn't answer my question about their supply chain for the bulk DEF. So I reached out to their Facebook page and here is the answer.
Pilot Flying J: Hi Donald – Thank you for reaching out. We produce our own Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) from major area manufacturers across the country. Our diesel islands satisfy rigorous 3rd party quality testing protocols to meet industry requirements and are ISO 22241 certified. We hope this answers your question! Please feel free to send us a private message if you need anything else.
So there you go Troy,
Don

Dumb question guys.... I have only used DEF from jugs. When buying DEF at the pump how do you know when the tank is full before it overflows? Is there a handle on it like a fuel pump that automatically stops?
It's just a mini me of a regular pump handle. It clicks off the same. I have now filled at Loves and Pilot and both nozzles were clean LOOKING.
Just a FYI towing at 75mph in head cross winds 32,500# combined I got 225 or so miles per gallon use of DEF.
What MPG were you getting of diesel?
Unless it was around 2-3, there is something wrong.
DEF usage is pretty much dependant on fuel usage. The more diesel you use, the more DEF you use.
