Was talking to the commercial truck guy at a ram dealer and he said they recommend using mopar brand def fluid in the cummins hd diesel.true or false.

Have always used Peak Blue 2.5 gal containers. I find it comical that guys get bent out of shape about the miniscule cost of DEF on a $50k+ truck. The amount you'll save on at the pump DEF might get you a free tank of fuel over the life of the truck. Yippee...
Bottom line is use whatever is most convenient and dont buy into dealer rhetoric B.S. about how their overpriced stuff is superior. Its not... There are only a handful of DEF producers which sell the same stuff under different brands/names.
