Which brand of def fluid.
Was talking to the commercial truck guy at a ram dealer and he said they recommend using mopar brand def fluid in the cummins hd diesel.true or false.

I will be heading this week from SoCal to MorRyde in Indiana and will carry an extra 2.5 plus a full tank.
I usually fill my Diesel tank at truck stops, I may give the DEF a try if the conditions look good at a truck stop soon.
I've found that my 2015 2500 Ram will take an entire 2.5 gallon jug of DEF when the gauge shows 1/2 tank.
