Well this chicken little knows for a fact that there is no filter on the GM DEF systems. And I am pretty sure that the Fords are the same.
I am not sure about the Rams... But I doubt they have one either.
In addition there is no drains on the tanks, so no way to get bad DEF out without removing the tank. There are also sensors in the tanks that can be compromised by bad DEF... These systems are required by the FEDs to monitor DEF quality to prevent wiseacres attempts to defeat the system such as adding water or piss into the tank.
Cantaminated DEF will throw a code which will need to be cleared at the dealer... This can require a tow...
So yes, Chicken Little knows that there is a LOT more that can happen than just a clogged DEF injector.
