Which brand of def fluid.
Was talking to the commercial truck guy at a ram dealer and he said they recommend using mopar brand def fluid in the cummins hd diesel.true or false.

The filter I am referring to is at the pump not on the truck. I do not think there is a filter other than maybe a fine screen on the in tank pump? Again warm and fuzzy is all that matters.

Funny thing is there are guys running the GDE tune that pour distilled water in there def tank as the egr valve is turned off with their tune. They haven't posted a thing about any codes being thrown.
