Was talking to the commercial truck guy at a ram dealer and he said they recommend using mopar brand def fluid in the cummins hd diesel.true or false.

Filled mine yesterday after getting the "ya better get me some DEF" warning that I would be crawling along at 5mph in 200 miles if I did not get sum in da tank.
So instead of putting in the 2.5 I had in the tool box I grew some balls and tried out the DEF pump along with the Diesel pump at a Loves in East NM on I-40.
I have now came out of my 2.5 gallon Peak DEF cave and joined the real world. It's easy, convenient and a deal at $2.75 a gallon.
