Which brand of def fluid.
Was talking to the commercial truck guy at a ram dealer and he said they recommend using mopar brand def fluid in the cummins hd diesel.true or false.

I drove across town today to the only place in my area that sells DEF at the pump. All of the dispensers were covered in crystals. I'm sure it would have been fine but I went to Walmart and bought a 2.5 gallon jug for $7.88 instead. I had to pick up a couple of other things anyway and that's only about $.30 more per gallon. I think I'll just stick with the jugs unless I happen to need it on a trip and I find a place that has it. Not so much cause I think it's better, but it's just a lot more convenient where I live.
