Was talking to the commercial truck guy at a ram dealer and he said they recommend using mopar brand def fluid in the cummins hd diesel.true or false.

Dumb question guys.... I have only used DEF from jugs. When buying DEF at the pump how do you know when the tank is full before it overflows? Is there a handle on it like a fuel pump that automatically stops?
