On our first TC we had screw type turnbuckles which were a pain to put on and take off and always in the way of the gas door. I will always have a set of quick disconnect turnbuckles now.
I currently use Fastguns. They came with the current TC. I like them.
I also have a set of Derringers with Torklift turnbuckles that require a length of chain to reach the tie downs. They work just as well and cost half the price of the Fastguns.
The Fastguns work the same but are sexier.
That being said, the wife prefers the Derringers. They don't hurt her hand when she opens and closes them.
So, if I had to replace them I'd probably go for the Derringers.
