I've had a couple scooters, but much smaller than what you're looking at. I'm about the same size as you. Right now I have a Honda Spree scooter, and a Honda XR650L enduro bike. I find I take that I take the 650 with me the most.
If I ONLY need to take the bike and nothing in my trailer, I haul it on the back rather than the front using my Superhitch and the same SuperTruss I use to haul the trailer with just your standard hitch bike rack. I put extra tethers on it and strap it to the camper jacks to prevent the bike bouncing around.
I've never wanted to haul it in the front for a couple reasons--
* All that road grim and bugs on the bike
* Rock chips
* Blocking the airflow into the radiator
Since my TC has a rear slide, my 650 prevents it from opening all the way, but I can still open it enough to get in the TC.
Loading and unloading is easy since there's a ramp included with the bike rack.
