- travelnutzExplorer IIMichigan - a title is required to show legal ownership but NO registration is required for TC's. Insurance is not required either. It's a big deal for us as we have 7 pull behind trailers presently and it save us a bunch! 2 years ago we had 11 pull behind trailers and that would be even worse if yearly registration was required here.
Additionally, all non-motorized trailers (TT's, 5'ers, boat, utility, etc) in Michigan also only have a "one time" low registration/plate fee that's good for as long as you own it.
Commercial use trailers may require yearly registrations depending on the size or usage. - tad94564Explorer

In CA it's optional. Its a one time fee of about 50 bucks through HUD.
This, but it was not optional in my case.. The dealer forced it, to get the financing. - Mello_MikeExplorer

That list shows "titles and registers" for Arizona. I haven't done either for my camper. But my camper is from 1969 and since we are the original owners, I know they didn't require it back then.
I know for a fact that AZ does not require either, so I question the accuracy of Idaho's list. - MN_BenExplorerNone in Minnesota.
- jmtandemExplorer IINevada no registration.
