Which Tire

BTW Goodyear does have that tire in an LT. Not sure if Sam's carries it though.

I'm currently running the Goodyear AT Adventure tires and they're a much better tire than my previous BF Goodrich AT2 tires by far which has some subtle similarities to the KO2 tire which would make me hesitant to purchase the KO2's.

While doing this research I received a call from the dealership where we bought the truck this last July. They are sending a refund check on taxes we were overcharged for that will pay 90% of the cost for the new tires. :B

Treadwear is one area I'm not too sure about and I've only got maybe 6k miles on them so far so I really don't know. I got a screaming deal on them so I was willing to roll the dice and see how they do in that regard. I did run the older KO design on an SUV and they wore fine but that was a very different application with limited (and lighter) towing and a much lighter vehicle.

I do tow quite a bit with these tires. This is towing season for us and well over half the miles so far have been towing our fifth wheel. That'll taper off as we get later into the fall and won't really pick up again until next spring.

I'm looking at the A/T GO15 All-weather.

2nd choice probably has not enaugh loadcapacity for your vehicle.

I have 275/70R18 BFG AT KO2s on my Ram but that's the stock size that came on them. I considered going a little bigger but I didn't want to mess around with a different size on my spare. You would give up a few hundred lbs of carrying capacity with your stock size, though, so it's a tradeoff.

As far as the tires themselves go I love the way the BFGs have performed so far. They're a good heavy tire with really good all around manners. I haven't tried them on snow yet but I've had the same tire on other vehicles in the past and they've performed well on winter roads so I expect these to as well. The mountain snowflake symbol is very handy where I live in the intermountain west with some of the traction/chain requirements we run into sometimes during the winters.

As an aside I think you can improve the aesthetics considerably by going to an aftermarket rim with less offset - the stock offset on both Ford and Ram HD trucks make them look a bit pigeon toed, imo. Just be sure the weight capacity doesn't have a lower limit than the tires.

They aren't on your list but I'm a big Cooper fan too so check out the ST Maxx also. If I hadn't found a good sale on the BFGs I very well may have gone with the Coopers.

I would want to go with Goodyear but I would also demand an LT.
So it would be #3 of those choices.
