I totally agree that anything over 5000 lbs dry is a push for a half-ton. In my case when loaded the tongue weight of my 25 ft TT is close to 700 lbs. With a 1411 lb max cargo there is not a lot of capacity left. Fortunately it is just the DW, dog and me.
As already suggested, the Op needs to think bigger TV or smaller TT.
It is all in the math.... and the CAT scales for accurate weight figures.
